Okay, but seriously. ‘Speed painting’ of Mr. McPuffington—I mean Ayame (my namesake, obviously ^_^), apparently chillin’ in Alconon… or something. Not perfect, but my standards for Ayame are far too high for my skill level, so dat be my excuse. And apparently, while my pencils have been slowly approaching a better level of masculinity, my PS has fallen behind, prolly cuz I don’t practice it. XD Or maybe Ayame’s just too damned pretty for his own good. O: Even though I gave him Aio’s nose and mouth, since they’re supposed to look identical except their expressions…

This started out as a half-assed photomanip for a LiveJournal icon for Ayame, and ended up being a full blown painting with the photo layer used only as a guide for my brush strokes.

I checked this out on my CRT, but the only change I made was to lighten it... I hope its not TOO light. On my CRT he looked too red, but when I added more blue (he's supposed to be pinkish skinned and periwinkle haired, but so light he's nearly white), he looked green on my LCD. D: So I left his hue as it was. ^_^ Hope it looks okay.

And now, if you’ve already read Ayame’s profile, this be the end of the artist’s comments for you. Cuz I like this picture of him better than the other one his profile is in, despite any flaws.

Character Profile: Ayame Sakuya Passe. (I won’t bother to say how Ayame’s first name is pronounced (since its hard to describe the flow D: ), but his wife call’s him I-me. I WILL, however, say that Passe is pronounced Passy rather than Passé (it rhymes with sassy ).)

‘Origin’/Species: God/Passe (Angel), though his origin is not like the ones he calls his ‘brothers and sisters’ (I.E. every other Passe in existence, except Aio ( [link] ), who is essentially Ayame... see [link] for the 'origins' I'm referring to). His was a Soul that existed since before his universe even did, then, after billions of years of being merely an observing presence, humankind’s stubborn belief in God caused his birth into a physical body over four thousand years ago… Basically, he just sort of ‘came to be’.

Apparent race: White? He has homes in New York (an antique church), England, Paris, Tokyo (where he lived with his wife until they moved to Alaska).

Age: Immortal. 4,233 (physical). His spirit is impossible to date.

Distinguishing characteristics: His inhuman ‘beauty’ and apparent perfection (which I fail miserably at rendering), despite his actually being rather fragile and gravely ill in his default form even with his misleading 7’6” height, as well as certainly NOT being considered perfect in his own and many other peoples’ eyes. The ‘mirrored’ sheen to his nearly white periwinkle silver hair and rosy glow to his nearly white skin, and the one red and one periwinkle silver eye.
Tends to wear either three piece suits or Victorian styles with his own touch in patent leather, satin and lace in whites, silvers, and barely blues, or occasionally in red and black. Known above all, clothing-wise, for his mirrored silver patent leather pants (lol ) and white patent leather wingtip shoes.
Drives a 1959 Cadillac Sedan with a chrome finish and white leather interior. ( [link] ) OOOH yeah. Ayame takes EXCELLENT care of his things; he’s owned the car since 1959 as well, which would make it, in his time, 135 years old. But he even takes that thing to Heaven sometimes, so I’m willing to bet it; like O’brea’s car; has been treated to some Heavenly tune-ups from time to time. Maybe’s there’s a Passe mechanic? O:
Needless to say, Ayame generally only drives his car at night, even if he could magically prevent the chrome ‘ paint job’ from blinding other drivers.

Relevance: Essentially God and thus the most important being in his world, though a large portion of story developments do not revolve around him (but he often DOES have a role in some of those scenes), including the very important man that single-handedly ‘saves the world’, who, incidentally, is NOT Ayame.

Likes: Women, love, his ‘brothers and sisters’, his wife ( [link] ), red wine, culture, old world architecture, cooking, and most of all, Peace and Order.

Dislikes: Sin (though he is readily forgiving), lies, betrayal, chaos and disorder (despite Lucifer, Angel of Chaos, being his closest friend before Lucifer fell), disaster, etc.

Other: Generally peaceful. Until recent years, he had never displayed a hint of anger, hatred, or sadness. Now he will do so mostly in the form of a stern and somber demeanor or lectures (or emo ). Occasionally lets all out rage slip, but that’s another story entirely. (See Aio [link] )
Impressively, even when rolling around in the grass with his dogs or tending a heavily bleeding wound (he's a doctor), his crisp white clothing always remains just that. The primary exception seems to be his own blood and/or vomit.
His ‘special’ ability (as all Passes have, I just haven’t decided on everyone’s yet), include enhanced senses (to the point of being able to feel microscopic germs on an object, etc.), being able to pass through solid objects, and being the fastest of his race. He is also able to heal with a kiss (as I’d once hinted at in RP) and when a kiss can’t be used, his healing abilities can take weeks based on the severity of the ailment… It’s possible, though, that he is capable of everyone’s ability just as he is capable of everyone’s responsibility (for example, he still controls the weather, as the only Passe born to that responsibility (Reese (to come)) had been banished to Hell years ago).

Pets: Elle (albino retriever), and Sasha (blue weimaraner). Also has a few cats, but I don’t believe I ever specified their names.

Additional comments: So it was -3 degrees yesterday (Dec. 17th, 2008), Caleb works outside all day filling tanker trunks and rail cars with oil, antifreeze, etc. now that he got promoted. He has one of those laser thermometers he loves to play with, and last night, after he’d been home defrosting for a few hours, he said he’d pointed it at the sky at work that day and it said -8 degrees, so he and Lorenzo were like “Oh… Well the sky must be negative eight degrees.”
To this I said. “It must be a cold day in Heaven? ”, and Caleb, anti-god as he is, said, “It’s always cold in Heaven.”
Somewhat unrelated to Ayame’s profile, but definitely related to Ayame, I’ve thus decided that Heaven; in addition to ‘looking like Japan’ (); is a sort of ‘Winter Wonderland’, where water is never frozen and flowers always bloom; indoors is always cozy, but snow always falls. Especially since, no sooner than the idea popped into my head did I remember how Passes love snow and typically seem immune to cold (AKA ‘A Cool Spring Eve’ [link] ). As for Souls, well I’m guessing they gain an immunity to cold too once they’re dead.
Anyway, I wanted to write that down befur I fergunked. >.<
