Origin/Species: Passe (Angel). (As with a few of my creations, many thanks goes out to the Deus Ex game series for much inspiration)
Apparent race: Scottish I promise. (Resides in Scotland; if I had INTERNET I could say where. ) Edit: Great Glen according to his LJ.
Age: Immortal. 4,227.
Distinguishing characteristics: Lots, from his metal and glass wings (I fail) to his circuited and chrome eyes with the occasional electrical spark (I fail miserably ) to the soldering, wires, circuits, metal, and scars that litter his body, to his mechanical hearts and the interface on his right arm (that's supposed to display a dissected torso, btw. >.< ). Oh, and the fact that those meddling little nanites changed his once red hair color to gunmetal black (at which I also fail D: ). Also there is his Angel Form, where he magically goes from pale skinned former redhead weirdness to looking like some race I can't identify (??? Yes, I had that reaction too ) with dark skin and long straight black hair I cant help it, its hot and it suits him. >.< He is most commonly seen covered up as much as he is able (drab clothing including a hood, gloves, and shades) when he is among the human race, until book five, in which he was more commonly seen in a black suit (and shades. Hes not a Man in Black No, really! D: ), black mission fatigues (and shades. ), or leather because stealth (example: his left arm in the picture) works best with leather (and you guessed it, SHADES! O: ). However, his kilt, boots, spiky arm things and no shirt (and no shades! ) is still his staple. Also rides a classic black Harley; kept in an underground bunker a few yards from his house. Even in the winter, he prefers his chopper to a nice, cozy car.
Relevance: Angel of Faith, the big brother figure of the family, despite Passes technically lacking genes (hence why Hanasakis children (all Passes except Ayame) dont look identical to her). Hes quite possibly the most loved by his brothers and sisters next to Ayame, and has been Ayames closest friend ever since Lucifer Fell and became evil nasty Satan type person One book bears Pauls greatest impact above all others, though I wont go into any more detail than that.
Likes: Lindsay, Ayame, solitude, bachelorhood, bathing naked in the Loch, building, tinkering with electronics (in moderation), hunting, lounging naked in bed with a good book, deer stew, and the occasional beer and a joint.
Dislikes: The Demon Ebola, scary homo sex D:, system overloads, charging his nanites, a shitload of brothers barging in on him while hes trying to lounge naked in bed with a good book, getting the eyelash bat from Ayames wife, getting chased/glomped/leg-humpings/attempted fondlages by/from Ivy, big scary homicidal Aio, and that damned fox that follows him around everywhere he goes.
Other: Once upon a time a while ago (or something ), Paul and his brother Euminae stood guarding Heavens Gates when the Demons Ebola and LaGucci stormed The Kingdom (their reasons will be clarified in future character insights. ). Ebola sliced Euminae into several pieces, then proceeded to rip Paul to shreds before passing through the gates At that point, Paul underwent some serious cybernetic implants in order to save his life (while Nae got stitched up to look like a fucking baseball >.< ), thus making Paul into the cyborg he is today. Paul was the second cybernetic resident of Heaven to receive the nanite program, he insisted on them after YET ANOTHER painful fate suffered during book fours Delpha incident, but on the first try, his body rejected the micro machines, which nearly killed him again. (Way to go, Ayame! ) Thus Ayame resorted to rendering Pauls body capable of manufacturing the nanites itself (he doesnt have metal bones, so he couldnt produce them the same way Trinity can) with the heart-looking thing on his chest, and the other thang on his ribs that distributes them. That, in turn, manufactured them with a sort of DNA code that allowed them to intermingle with his organic systems. A drawback of that, however, is the fact that the nanites can only heal internal damage, while a gaping wound will cause them to drain from his body faster than he can produce them, rather than healing the open wound. Ooh, listen to me tryina sound aww smawt! Paul also had a brief crush on Magdalena Passe (he cant resist a great pair of legs), as seems to be common among Passes since they rarely grow up around anything but other Angels. Thank god nothing ever comes of Passe crushes save for two instances, one of which is quite different (but I won't go into that, because this is about Paul ).
Pets: Tsuki (robotic dog he crafted himself), that damned fox his brothers lovingly refer to as PJ (Paul Jr.) just to get on Pauls nerves.
Additional comments: I havent decided on his mech color theme yet. Initially, it was mid-tone bluish metal and pale blue lights. Now Im debating between that, and either silver metal with pale teal or green lights, or blackish metal with red lights. I still like the blue best though Green is a close second, and the red seems to suit Trinity better, but Im not sure about HER either, cuz I always liked the blue for her too. ): (I like blue too much! >.< ) His wings (among other things) came out looking rather sloppy too It sux. I was gonna draw his home in the BG, but boy once I finished those transparent wings that idea bit the dust real fast. D: Maybe if I ever color it. ^_^
Lol, did you send this at your mom's? You're funny. Love you too. ;D

nice, I think the wings are awesome - i feel like I can see them moving about in a scarily mechanical yet still graceful-angelic kind of way. Interesting to more a 'manly'-looking kind of man compared to the normal male passe look

Yep, that's one of the things Paul is best known for. Being manly instead of pretty. ^_^ And as for the movement of his wings, that seems to about sum up what I picture as well.
Thank so much for the comment!
